Our work with families is grounded in deep listening, cultural humility, and a commitment to helping each member feel seen and heard. Our space is intentionally affirming and rooted in cultural humility, where clients can show up fully without fear of judgment or the need to explain who they are. Whether you're navigating coming out, identity exploration, transition, partnership challenges, or family dynamics, we hold space for your truth and honor your resilience. We believe that healing and growth happen when you feel safe, seen, and empowered to live authentically.

My Ideology
I believe you are the best expert on your life. Society often conditions us to place our power in the hands of doctors, therapists, coaches, nurses, midwives, and other experts, expecting them to fix our problems. I challenge this belief system, both in therapy and coaching. Recognizing that you are the best expert on your life, my role is not to change who you are at your core but to help you uncover habits that no longer serve you, enabling you to truly live your best life.
Together, we will collaborate to create action plans centered on your objectives. This approach allows us to develop interventions tailored to your unique talents and characteristics, empowering you to build lifelong skills that will help you navigate future challenges and achieve your aspirations. My philosophy emphasizes a holistic approach, focusing on the whole person, and is grounded in establishing trust through deep, non-judgmental listening, authentic sharing, and direct feedback.
We work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, and burnout. Whether you’re dealing with long-standing patterns or facing new challenges, we help you gain clarity, build coping tools, and reconnect with your sense of self. Many of our clients are also working through identity-related concerns, such as navigating the impacts of racial trauma, intergenerational pain, or marginalization related to gender, sexuality, or disability. This work is collaborative, trauma-informed, and tailored to your lived experience.
We support couples and intimate partnerships through a wide range of challenges, including communication breakdowns, infidelity, intimacy concerns, and the stress of major life changes. We also work with non-monogamous relationships and LGBTQIA+ couples navigating unique relational dynamics. Whether you’re trying to repair after a rupture or deepen an already strong bond, we help partners develop greater understanding, trust, and connection.
Our life coaching services can help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Our experienced coaches provide guidance, support, and motivation to help you identify your strengths, overcome obstacles, and achieve success in all areas of your life.
Families are living systems, and sometimes those systems hit roadblocks. We help families navigate conflict, estrangement, mental health concerns within the family, and changes like divorce, grief, or caregiving transitions. Our goal is to help family members better understand each other, rebuild trust, and create healthier ways of relating—especially when cultural values, identity differences, or generational wounds are involved.
Change—even positive change—can be overwhelming. We work with clients adjusting to divorce, the loss of a loved one, career shifts, becoming a parent, aging, or reentering the world after a difficult season. Our space is one where grief, growth, and uncertainty are all welcome. You don’t have to navigate these transitions alone.
We offer support for clients living with obsessive-compulsive disorder, disordered eating, and related challenges. These concerns are approached with sensitivity and evidence-informed care, whether you're newly diagnosed or seeking long-term support. We work to dismantle shame and build sustainable tools for managing distress in a way that aligns with your values and sense of agency.forward, guiding them through practical strategies to enhance their lives, overcome obstacles, and maximize their potential. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, but it can be an empowering tool to help you create meaningful change and thrive.
While both coaching and therapy offer valuable support, they serve different purposes. Therapy focuses on healing past traumas, diagnosing mental health conditions, and addressing emotional issues that require clinical intervention. Coaching, on the other hand, is forward-focused, aimed at helping you set and achieve specific personal or professional goals. As a life coach, our coaches work with clients who are ready to move forward, guiding them through practical strategies to enhance their lives, overcome obstacles, and maximize their potential. Coaching is not a replacement for therapy, but it can be an empowering tool to help you create meaningful change and thrive.
Tikvah, meaning "hope" in Hebrew, represents the core philosophy of our coaching approach. We believe that hope is a guiding force that can help you navigate even the darkest moments in life. At Tikvah, our method focuses on empowering you to harness the concept of hope as a tool to face challenges, overcome obstacles, and work towards achieving your goals. We look forward to supporting you on your journey, providing the encouragement and strategies needed to move forward with optimism and resilience.
At Tikvah, we believe in community healing, skill-building, and the power of shared experience. That’s why we’re expanding our offerings to include group therapy, healing workshops, and support circles designed to address common challenges like anxiety, identity development, grief, burnout, and relational trauma. These spaces will offer connection, accountability, and collective wisdom in a safe, affirming environment.
We are also in the process of integrating trauma-focused treatments, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and other somatic and narrative-based modalities. These approaches are especially supportive for clients healing from PTSD, complex trauma, and identity-based wounds.
Stay tuned as we grow our services and continue creating spaces that honor resilience, restore nervous systems, and support deep, sustainable transformation. If you’d like to be notified when these offerings become available, feel free to reach out or join our mailing list!
